Emotions so extravagant,
its hard to breath,
hard to think.
Choking on every word that tries to escape
Suffocating on every thought,
every memory that comes to mind
My dread grows as the dagger of your words falls against my naked soul.
A song of etherial pain empties into a night of dark desires.
Entwined as the night tumbles in a heavy, asphyxiate cloak.
Your soul thrives no more
How could you abandon me?
Lost souls surround us, crying
We have lost our light
Now in a night of ecstasy,
I hunger.
Light flares once, then dies
I fall asleep to kill the reality
To kill the nightmares,
I awake in summerland
I am not alive,
yet i still walk amongst the living
Watching all other lives pass me by
as i remain to reminisce of afflictions of my past
They grow more consciously as i climb the neverending path
Leading me through the unknown waters
where the undertow drowns me.
